What is Survival Configuration Menu?It is more than just a menu that allows you to configure several aspects of the survival elements of Fallout 4.
With the new system, you can configure how much hunger and thirst you gain from items, how much your companion is overloaded, and whether you can carry the weight of an item. Survival Configuration Menu allows you to configure all these things with very little effort.
How much do I need to eat or drink?The new system is much more humane than the old one.
If you were to eat or drink according to the old system, you would need to eat and drink tons of meat and would eventually become very hungry and thirsty.
Now, with the new system, you can have a small snack or meal with just 0.1 weight, and still, be full and not get too hungry or thirsty.
Do you remember the days, when you used two Rad-Aways and went from satiated back to hungry? Well, good news, I've fixed that for you.
You can now configure exactly how much hunger or thirst you gain from items.
